This Licensing Policy (“Policy”) defines specific licensing rules and conditions for iCEDQ Product. The use of the Product is subject to the Licensee’s compliance with the End User License Agreement (“EULA”) of which this Policy is a part.

Definition

  1. An instance is a base metal server, virtual machine, or a container on which iCEDQ software is deployed, within limits granted to Licensee.
  2. A named user is a user to whom the License is assigned exclusively, and only the named user can access the iCEDQ software at any given time.
  3. The engine is a core element of the software that computes the data for validation and reconciliation. An instance can have one or multiple types of engines based on the License granted to the Licensee.

    1. For Standard and High Throughput Engine, the instance size translates to vCPUs or Cores.
    2. For Big Data Engine, the instance size translates to the number of nodes in a cluster, Master + Worker.
  5. Add-on License is a License for a specific feature that is not available as part of the default package. Each Add-on license is assigned to an existing instance of iCEDQ.
  6. Credits are used to complete a short-term premium support request. The credits are non-expiring, and customers can purchase them in advance.
  7. Standard Support Request is the request related to non-functioning of software, desired features, or access to latest software version. Below are some examples.
    1. The user is not able to execute any Rules in iCEDQ.
    2. The user wants to know how to perform a specific action or create/ update/delete a particular type of object in iCEDQ software.
    3. The user wants to connect to XYZ data source which is not currently supported. However, it will be made available in a future release as it is on the planned roadmap.
  8. Premium Support Request is the request that is not related to Software Error. Below are some examples.
    1. A user wants the support team to install or upgrade the software.
    2. A user wants training on a complete module or a feature present in the software.
